Wow, this is fantastic. It's a version of Pansy that I have never seen before, and yet you've painted such a vivid portrait of her that it feels very real and true and a perfectly reasonable examination of her character. I love the details of her family business and the position it puts the Parkinsons in during the war. I love the politics of Slytherin house and how they aren't all just a bunch of Dark Lord sympathizers but a group of real people trying to stick together against the sometimes unfair stereotypes. I love how Pansy's ambition shines through, making her a perfect Slytherin, and yet she's not an evil person at all, just one who is trying to survive and stay on top of the darkness. I confess I was wandering through some hih member's journals and decided to read this fic on a whim, but I'm really glad I did because this is incredibly well written and I greatly enjoyed it. :)
